Memories of Jane Thomas

It is with deep sorrow and disbelief that we have been informed by Kenny that his beloved wife and our cherished and valiant skipper and everyone's dear friend Jane Thomas passed away on Sunday January 18th, succumbing to severe injuries she suffered in a fall last Sunday the 11th. Jane passed away peacefully, with Kenny by her side holding her hand as she passed.

No words can begin to express the impact this tremendous loss will have on the local sailing community, the broader women's sailing community, Channel Islands Yacht Club, and all who figured among Jane's countless friends. 

May we find solace knowing that Jane's soaring spirit has been released and that she now sails toward new horizons. We wish her God's speed.

Please respect Kenny's privacy at this time of great loss and do not send cards or flowers. We intend to set up a Jane Thomas memorial foundation where you can instead make donations in her name.
